Northeastern Caps Regular Season At No. 13 Boston College

BOSTON, Mass. — The Northeastern men's hockey team faces No. 13 Boston College for the third time this season on Saturday, March 7 — the Huskies' final regular season game — with puck drop set for 7 p.m. on NESN.

THREE THINGS TO KNOW:
  1. BATTLE OF BOSTON AND CHESTNUT HILL: Northeastern enters the regular season finale having swept Boston College in both earlier meetings, posting a 4-1 road win and a 3-0 shutout victory. Junior goaltender Lawton Zacher has been exceptional in both games, turning aside a combined 72 shots, while sophomore James Fisher has scored in each matchup. Despite Boston College's commanding edge in the all-time series, the Huskies hold a 6-4-2 record against the Eagles since the arrival of the Class of 2026.
  2. VIN IT TO WIN ITCaptain Vinny Borgesi closes out his final regular season game as Northeastern's only four-year senior, capping a standout campaign in which he leads all NCAA skaters in time on ice for the second straight year at 27:02 per game. The blueliner has set career bests across the board this season while pacing all Husky defensemen with 19 points and ranking in the top five among Hockey East defensemen in five statistical categories.
  3. WHERE IT ALL BEGANJunior Andy Moore hit the 100-game milestone last weekend on home soil in Maine, becoming the sixth Husky to reach the mark this season, and has made his points count — with the Huskies going a perfect 4-0 in games where he finds the scoresheet.
