Women's Rowing Returns To Lake Morey

BOSTON — The Northeastern women's rowing team makes the trip to Fairlee, Vt. this weekend for competition at the Lake Morey Regatta.

THREE THINGS TO KNOW:
  1. LAST TIME OUT: In their most recent outing, the Huskies traveled to Overpeck Park to face Columbia and Rhode Island, with the second varsity eight and second varsity four both coming away with wins. The second varsity eight, stroked by Evie Gaylord, topped both Columbia and Rhode Island at 7:48.65, while the second varsity four — stroked by Mia Bonfiglio — claimed first place over Columbia in 8:31.14.
  2. BACK AT LAKE MOREY: The Huskies are no strangers to this venue. A season ago, Northeastern swept all NCAA events at the Lake Morey Regatta, going four-for-four against Rhode Island in session one before posting a four-for-five record against Cornell in session two.
  3. SPRING BRUNCH RECEPTION: The Northeastern rowing community is encouraged to attend the team's annual spring brunch reception and senior celebration on Sunday, April 26 from 12-2 p.m. Register here.
