Sarney Completes Steeplechase At Penn Relays

PHILADELPHIA - Northeastern track and field athlete Ryan Sarney competed in the 3000m steeplechase championships at the Penn Relays on Thursday evening.

Sarney was one of 35 to compete in the event at Franklin Field. The junior crossed the finish line at 8:56.21, placing 23rd. This time replaces his personal best by a minute and 55 seconds.

The Huskies are back in competition on Saturday, April 25 at the Ken O'Brien Pre-Championship Invitational.
