RICHMOND, Va. - Sophomore Will Schmidt of the Northeastern men's soccer team earned CAA Co-Offensive Player of the Week accolades, announced by the conference on Monday. Â
Schmidt led the Huskies past Monmouth on Saturday with a goal in the 83rd minute to win 1-0, helping the Huskies pick up their first conference win of the season. On Tuesday, Schmidt posted an assist in Northeastern's 2-1 victory against CCSU.Â
Schmidt's goal was his fourth of the season, which puts him second on the team in goals and third on the team in points (10).Â
Schmidt and the Huskies return to action on Saturday, Sept. 26, against No. 13 Hofstra at 7 p.m.Â
