Before Northeastern: A recent graduate of Ulster University, where she most recently played for the Ulster University Elks... attended Ballymena Academy (2016-2023) and played for the 1st XI, winning the Ulster Shield in 2022 and earning Top Goalscorer and Player of the Year honors in 2023... played club hockey for Ballymena Hockey Club, captaining the Under-15 side... internationally, competed for Irish U18 at the 2022 8 Nations and served as vice captain at the 2023 U18 European Championships Division A... represented Ireland at the U21 Junior World Cup in 2025 and the U21 European Championships Division A in 2026.

Personal: Daughter of Paul and Debbie Byrne... has one sibling, brother Matthew (23)... her father played semi-professional football for Glenavon, making 668 appearances and captaining the club to the Irish Senior Cup, while her mother represented Ireland at U21 level in Equestrian Eventing at the European Championships and now manages the U16, U18, and U21 sides... a Ballymena native, she grew up with horses before focusing on hockey, and enjoys long walks with her dog Orca, country music, and reading... plans on studying Organizational Communications.

Why Northeastern?: "The staff reached out to me and asked me if I would be interested in coming over. It was such good timing - I have just graduated and have no commitments yet, and I want to experience different things and cultures. I believe coming to Northeastern will allow me to fall back in love with the sport and I can't wait to play with all the girls!"
