Nicole Stock has joined the Northeastern University women's ice hockey staff as an assistant coach for the 2009-10 season. She will assist co-head coaches Linda Lundrigan and Lauren McAuliffe as Northeastern head coach

Stock captained the Brown University women's ice hockey team as a goaltender last season and served as assistant captain in 2007-08. She earned second-team All-Ivy honors the past two seasons and broke the school record for saves in a single game, season and career. Stock was also named to the ECAC Hockey All-Academic team and Academic All-Ivy team in 2007-08 and 2008-09.
The Buffalo Grove, Ill., native has previous coaching experience in the Providence Youth Lacrosse League as an U-9 coach between 2006-09. Stock also served as a sports management intern for Global Athletic Management Enterprises in 2008 and volunteered as a part-time goalie coach for the Rhode Island Xpress hockey team over the last four years.
Stock graduated from Brown in 2009 with a bachelor's degree in political science.
