The Northeastern baseball team went 0-4 on its trip to Dallas after losing to Prairie View A&M, 10-4, Saturday afternoon in Dallas.
Senior Matt Piryk (0-1) started for NU and was roughed up for eight runs on seven hits in four innings.
The Huskies opened up a three-run advantage in the second inning when sophomore Dan Milano hit a two-run homer and junior Chris Emanuele hit an RBI single. With his hit, Emanuele extended his season-opening hitting streak to 13 games.
The Panthers (18-15) roared back in the bottom of the second with four runs of their own. They scored two more times in the third and never looked back.
NU didn't help its own cause as it committed five errors in the game.
The Huskies will return to Boston and play their home opener on Sat., March 26 verus Holy Cross in a doubleheader that is scheduled for 11 a.m.
