Brown won its fourth straight Dreissigacker Cup by defeating Northeastern by five seats over the 2000-meter Seekonk River course.

The Bears surged ahead early, holding a one-length lead after 500 meters, but the Huskies fought back, narrowing to Brown's lead to two seats at 1000 meters. For the next 500 meters, the crews exchanged Power 10s with Brown two seats at the 1500 mark.

The Bears crossed the finish line in 5:30.4 to the Huskies 5:32.7. Brown now leads the series 24-21.  

The Huskies will take on Pennsylvania in the Burke Cup next Sunday, April 26 on the Schuylkill River.
