The Northeastern track & field team turned in two runners-up performances and a pair of third-place showings on Saturday, Dec. 10 at Harvard University's Gordon Indoor Track in a non-scored affair.

The Huskies' podium performances all occurred in the field as junior Tejorn Davis, and veteran Patrick Jablonski both finished in second in their respective events.

Davis posted a second-place spring of 7.01m (23'0) in the long jump while Combi's leap of 6.94m (22'9.25) in the same event was good for third place. Jablonski closed out Northeastern's second-place showings with a heave of 15.62m (51'3) in the shot put, six feet off the victor from Harvard.

Sophomore Dylan Lucas's clearance of 4.40m (14'5.25) in the pole was good enough for this place while veteran Patrick Daly was not too far behind in fifth place with a mark of 4.25m (13'11.25).

Combi flashed his dexterity by posting a fourth-place jaunt of 8.36 in the 60-meter hurdles, just one-hundredth of a second off from the Huskies' fifth-best run in school history.

Northeastern finished sixth, seventh and eight in the triple jump with newcomer Jason Matthews anchoring the effort with a combination of 14.34m (47'0.75) for sixth. Classmate Jasped McCoy followed suit in seventh place (14.01m – 45'11.75) while Davis' jumps equaling 13.99m (45'10.75) finished off in eighth place.

Sophomore Max Milder beat out 33 other throwers in the weight throw with a fourth-place mark of 16.73m (54'10.75) for fourth place.

Sophomores Alex Shapiro and Kaylin Miranda looped Gordon Indoor Track twice for fifth and ninth place, in that order, in the 400-meter dash. Shapiro closed out his run in 49.78 while Miranda crossed in 51.38.
