The Northeastern women's country team sent seven competitors to the Bryant Invitational on Saturday morning as junior
Katie Barrett posted a top-10 performance after a time of 18:28.30 for 10th place out of a field of 96.
Sophomore
Danielle Klein notched a 28th-place mark of 19:37.97 while senior
Meegan Joly wrapped up the event with a 33rd-place mark of 19:52.68. Junior
Laura Coyne crossed the line of the 5K course in 20:01.45 for 38th.
Newcomer
Mara Scallon finished up the race with a 44th-place showing of 20:13.17. Rookie
Nicole Novellino and senior
Kathleen Keen concluded Northeastern's efforts with respective placings of 82nd (22:03.86) and 91st (23:01.54).
Providence College blanketed the top three spots with top honors going to Emily Sisson (17:09.99).
Other competitors included Boston University, Massachusetts, Holy Cross, Rhode Island, Siena, Navy Prep Academy, Wheaton and host Bryant.
Northeastern returns to the Bay State to run in the UMass Dartmouth Invitational on Saturday, Sept. 17 in Dartmouth, Mass.
