Boston Herald story on Feldman

BOSTON
- Former Northeastern women's basketball star Ashlee Feldman ('09) has returned to Boston, turning in basketball shoes for a microphone. The former Husky guard will join WJMN 94.5 FM's morning show 'Ramiro's House' as a co-host alongside longtime host Ramiro Torres.

'Ramiro's House' runs on weekday mornings from 5 a.m to 10 a.m. Prior to her new gig at 94.5, Feldman was a cast member of the 24th season of MTV's 'The Real World,' and has also worked in radio in St. Louis and New Orleans. This past year, Feldman hosted the streaming live show at CAA Basketball Media Day.

While at Northeastern, Feldman was one of the most prolific scorers to ever don the Red and Black. Feldman became the 14th player in NU history to reach 1,000 career points during her senior campaign in 2008-09, currently sitting at 11th all-time with 1,221 points. For her career, she averaged 10.2 points, including a career-high 12.7 a game as a sophomore in the 2006-07 season.

A dangerous three-point shooter, the Collingswood, N.J. native ranks second all-time in NU history with 240 made three-pointers, and tenth all-time with a 33.1 percent clip from long range.  During her sophomore campaign, she set a program record by converting 90.2 percent of her attempts from the free throw line. She also holds three of the top-ten single season highs for three pointers.

The current batch of Huskies sit at 11-8 on the year, with a 4-4 mark in CAA league play. NU returns to the hardwood on Sunday, Feb. 3 with a visit from the Towson Tigers for a 2 p.m. matinee.
