BOSTON—
In a dual scored meet against Dartmouth, Hartford, Sacred Heart, New Hampshire and UMass Lowell, the Northeastern men's track and field team walked away with first-place team finishes across the board at the 5th annual Jay Carisella Invitational on Saturday evening.

"This meet is a special meet for us as we celebrate the Carisella family and Jay's memory as a Husky," said head coach Cathrine Erickson. I am pleased with how our athletes competed and honored our alumni and all those attached to our program."

The Huskies defeated each opponent by an average of 62.8 points, including a dominating 99-point victory spread over Hartford.  The closest contest came against Dartmouth, but NU edged the Big Green, 81-44.

The junior sprinter ranks second on NU's all-time performance list in the event.  Kyle Darrow was next to cross, earning second place (7.01 seconds) before Donovan Henry clocked in at 7.03 seconds to take bronze. Later, Lane added another individual title with a first-place finish in the 60-meter hurdles (8.27 seconds). Zachary Krause completed in the mile with a mark of 4:15.28 to finish second out of 40 runners in the event.
