RICHMOND, Va. – After placing first in the 3-meter dive and second in the 1-meter dive against New Hampshire on Saturday, Northeastern diver
Jacquelyn Gover was named CAA Diver of the Week, as announced by the conference on Tuesday.

The freshman from North Easton, Massachusetts collected 13 individual points against the Wildcats, helping the Huskies sweep the podiums in both diving events, and outscore UNH 32-6 on the boards en route to a 161-119 win against New Hampshire. Gover's score of 252.25 in the 3-meter dive topped fellow teammates
Megan Rutter (241.15) and
Alyssa Seales (239.10), while her score of 266.05 in the 1-meter dive was good enough for second place behind NU newcomer
Caroline Gonsalves (269.20).

Anna Schegoleva was also recognized by the conference on Tuesday after winning three individual events last weekend. Schegoleva posted a time of 57.72 in the 100 backstroke, 2:02.76 in the 200 backstroke, and 2:08.48 in the 200 IM. She also swam the backstroke leg of the 200 medley relay for Northeastern's A squad, helping the team win the event with a time of 1:44.68.
Northeastern returns to the pool this Friday, Oct. 31 in Fairfax, Virginia when the Huskies will compete in the first day of a two-day quad meet against Towson, College of Charleston, and host George Mason.Â
