HAMPTON, Va. — The Northeastern swimming and diving team (6-2) wrapped up day two of competition at the CAA Championships, hosted at the Hampton Aquaplex, highlighted by bronze-medal performances from senior Anelise Kim and the Huskies' 400 Medley Relay squad.
- Kim paced Northeastern on the boards, earning bronze in the 3-Meter Diving finals with a score of 270.10 to secure a podium finish and key points for the Huskies.
- Freshman Kailyn Aquino added a seventh-place finish in the championship finals with a score of 235.05, while fellow freshman Tyler Ostrom competed in the consolation round and placed 12th overall.
- Freshman Alex Campion recorded a strong swim in the 200 IM consolation finals, touching the wall in 2:04.67 to finish fourth in the heat and 12th overall.
- In the 50 Free championship finals, junior May Bradburn placed sixth with a time of 23.06, followed closely by junior Mary Nordmann in seventh at 23.11. Freshman Alex Fuller claimed 10th place in the consolation finals, while senior Kotoko Blair finished 14th overall.
- Northeastern capped the evening with another podium performance in the 400 Medley Relay, as senior Anna Verlander, freshman Alex Campion, freshman Alex Fuller and junior Mary Nordmann combined for a third-place finish in 3:43.12.
- The Huskies ended day two in fourth place with 342 points.
Northeastern returns to action Friday morning, beginning with the 100 Fly preliminaries at 9:30 a.m.
