The Huskies tallied 1,553 total points and finished more than 200 points ahead of Navy, who ended the meet in second place with 1,284 points.

Rutgers, the invitational hosts, remained on a third-place island throughout the final seven events of the competition, and wrapped up the meet with 1,085 total points. Idaho (991 points) stole fourth-place away from Wagner, as the Seahawks came in fifth place with a score of 963 points.

LIU-Post (797), Columbia (661.5), James Madison (657), Central Connecticut (582), New Hampshire (389.5), Sacred Heart (68), and The College of New Jersey (60) finished from sixth to 12th, respectively.

Jordan Domeier kicked off the final day for Northeastern with a ninth-place result in the 1650 freestyle. The sophomore from Spring, Texas had her best performance of the 2014-15 season, posting a time of 17:16.94.
Rachael Geiger also swam to a season-best time of 17:22.67, as the sophomore from Ottawa, Canada finished 14th overall in the event.

Senior
Anna Schegoleva came within one second of breaking her own record in the 200 backstroke, earning a second-place time of 1:58.53. Schegoleva was neck-and-neck with Wagner's Anu Nihipali during the entire event, but a strong third leg by Nihipali scooted the Seahawk swimmer into first place for the rest of the way.
Sophie Browne placed sixth in the B final with a time of 2:06.11, good for 14th overall.

Sara Touchette-McGowan set a new Northeastern record in the 100 freestyle when she tagged the wall with a time of 51.25 in the B final, good for ninth overall.
Jessica Colucci and
Rachel Green finished back-to-back in 12th and 13th overall with respective times of 52.52 and 52.64.

Freshman
Samira Hoesl followed a victory in the 100 breaststroke on Saturday with a third-place result in the 200 breaststroke on Sunday. Teammate
Taylor Ellis set a new season-best in the event with a time of 2:17.52, as the sophomore finished first in the B final and ninth overall.

Strong preliminary times by
Delaney Lanker and Domeier awarded both swimmers spots in the 200 butterfly A final. Lanker's time of 2:05.36 landed the sophomore a sixth-place result, while Domeier placed eighth with a time of 2:06.87.
Erica DeMunbrun netted a second-place finish in the B final as well, good for 10th overall.

In the 21st and final event of the meet, Northeastern secured the 2014 Frank Elm Invitational title with a first-place finish in the 400 freestyle relay. Hoesl, Colucci, Touchette-McGowan, and Schegoleva combined for a school-record time of 3:26.08, as the Huskies celebrated their first team-meet victory since the 2007 Terrier Invitational, held at Boston University.

The conclusion of the 2014 Frank Elm Invitational marks the midway point of the 2014-15 season for the Northeastern women's swimming and diving team. In three weeks, the Huskies will travel to Ponce, Puerto Rico for the team's annual training trip, and will return to competition on Saturday, Jan. 10 in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania for a CAA pod meet against Drexel and Delaware.Â
