Huskies wrap up non-conference slate vs. Dartmouth, Albany
Riding a three-game unbeaten streak, the Northeastern women's soccer team (4-2-2) will wrap up its non-conference schedule this weekend with a pair of games against Dartmouth (Friday, 5 p.m.) and Albany (Sunday, 3 p.m.). The Huskies have faced the Big Green twice in program history and have lost both matches, including a 1-0 road decision in 2010. Northeastern is 6-0-0 all-time vs. Albany, most recently defeating the Great Danes, 2-0, in 2012.

Dartmouth details
The Big Green own a 1-2-1 record heading into Friday's showdown. Most recently, Dartmouth defeated St. John's, 2-0, to pick up its first win in the Ron Rainey era. Rainey previously coached at Iowa and is the Hawkeyes' all-time winningest coach. Offensively, the Big Green are led by Lucielle Kozlov, Lindsay Knutson and Meredith Gurnee, who each have one goal. Tatiana Saunders has played every minute in net and owns a 0.95 GAA and a .789 save percentage.

All about Albany
Albany enters the weekend with a 2-5-1 overall record. The Great Danes, who will face Columbia on Friday, snapped a four-game winless skid on Sept. 14 with a 5-0 victory over St. Peter's. Vivian Vega scored twice to push her season goal total to five, good for the team-best scoring mark. Prior to the season, Albany was picked eighth out of nine teams in the America East Conference preseason coaches' poll. Northeastern is 3-0-0 so far this season against teams from the America East (UMass Lowell, New Hampshire, Maine), and has outscored those opponents by an 8-0 margin.

Regional rank
Northeastern moved up to No. 3 in the latest NSCAA Mid-Atlantic Regional Poll. The Huskies were ranked ninth last week, before posting an undefeated week against regional foes UMass and Boston University. The Terriers were previously ranked No. 2 in the region before falling to the Huskies at home, 1-0, on Sunday. Northeastern is the highest-ranked CAA team in this week's Mid-Atlantic poll; Hofstra was placed fourth, William & Mary was sixth, and James Madison was slotted 10th.

Defensive dominance
Northeastern ranks fourth in the nation in team goals against average (0.233) entering the weekend. The Huskies have shutout six of their eight opponents this season, including three straight, and have not conceded a goal in 344 consecutive minutes. In addition, the Red and Black have allowed only 15 total shots on goal (1.9 per game) through eight matches.

Road warriors
Northeastern has yet to concede a goal in three road matches (290 minutes) this season. The Huskies played to a 0-0 draw at Providence on Aug. 28, beat Maine 4-0 on Sept. 7, and knocked off Boston University 1-0 on Sept. 14.

Calderone collects two honors
Senior Bianca Calderone was named the CAA Co-Player of the Week on Monday. The center back scored the game-winning goal in the 85th minute on Sept. 14 as the Huskies earned their first win over Boston University since 2008. Calderone also earned a spot on the CollegeSoccer360.com Primetime Performers list, as announced Tuesday.
