Northeastern Players in the ProsREGGIO CALABRIA, Italy - Former Northeastern basketball player
Reggie Spencer has signed a professional contract with VIS Reggio Calabria of the Italian basketball league.

Reggie Spencer," said DG Luigi Di Bernardo. "Reggie is excited about playing for VIS and eager to contribute. I am sure that he will give a positive jolt of adrenaline to the whole team. There is no question about his value."

th former player under Head Coach
Bill Coen to sign a professional contract, and the second this year with
Scott Eatherton inking a contract with Fortitudo Agrigento, as both members of Coen's 2015 senior class have now signed professional deals.

Spencer's new squad is only a couple hundred miles away from Eatherton's team in Southern Italy. Â

The Tuscaloosa, Ala. native played in 32 games during his senior season shooting .530 from the field and finishing with 5.9 points and 3.1 rebounds per game.

Over the course of his Northeastern career, Spencer took part in 125 games, starting 82 of them. He tallied 992 career points, 36
th all-time on the Northeastern scoring leaders list and took down 648 rebounds over the course of his career, finishing as the Huskies rebound leader during his freshman and sophomore campaigns. His 77 career blocks rank 10
th all-time on the career blocks list.
