Alyssa Seales was the top-finishing diver on the boards for the Huskies, earning eighth place with a final round score of 266.80.

Jacquelyn Gover and
Caroline Gonsalves placed 11th and 12th in the 3-meter dive, while junior
Megan Rutter took home 14th place. Gover notched a score of 257.70 in the consolation round, Gonsalves earned a score of 254.85, and Rutter achieved a score of 236.65.

Northeastern is off to a great start in the 2015 CAA swimming and diving championships, racking up 25 points during the first event of the week. The Huskies are currently in fourth place overall behind James Madison (49 points), Towson (45), and Delaware (31). UNCW (4) and College of Charleston (1) both had one diver advance beyond the preliminary round, while Drexel's top diver finished outside of the top 16. William & Mary did not enter a diver into Saturday's event.

Seales was seeded as high as seventh place after the preliminary round, earning a score of 275.65, 0.65 points ahead of James Madison's Carly Alexander. Gover was two positions away from a spot in the final round with a 10th-place preliminary score of 267.85, while Gonsalves and Rutter were seeded 13th and 14th, with respective preliminary scores of 246.15 and 241.55. Gonsalves was the lone NU diver to have improved her score from the preliminary round to the final round, gaining 8.75 points.
James Madison finished one-two in the 3-meter dive as Taryn McLaughlin won the first individual title of the 2015 championship week with a score of 337.90. Her teammate, Olivia Lehman, finished in second place with a score of 308.80.

The Northeastern diving team will look to keep up its success on the boards on Sunday, Feb. 21, when Seales, Gover, Gonsalves, and Rutter compete in the 1-meter diving event. Sunday's itinerary will be identical to Saturday's, with the men and women participating in the opposite events from day one.
