Â
The Huskies tacked on 102 points to their overall score (224 points) through 27 events, gaining 72 individual points and 30 team points to widen their fifth-place lead to 18.5 points ahead of UNCW (205.5).

Results from last Saturday's 3-meter diving event have yet to be added into the overall championship scores.
Â
Sophie Browne began day three for the Huskies as Northeastern's lone entrant in the 400 IM. The junior from Scarsdale, New York, earned a season-best time of 4:33.33 in the preliminary round, but ended up on the outside looking in at the consolation final, finishing the event in 19th place overall.

Sara Touchette-McGowan came within 0.32 seconds of an individual championship in the 100 butterfly, but broke the school record in the event with a third-place time of 54.36. Touchette-McGowan's time was also fast enough to earn an NCAA Division I B-cut designation as the first-year NU swimmer celebrated her first top-three result during championship week.
Â
Erica DeMunbrun managed to qualify for the consolation final in the 100 butterfly, and finished the event in 10th place overall with a time of 55.40. Teammate

Â
Taylor Ellis continued her strong championship week outing with a Northeastern record-setting performance in the 100 breaststroke. Tove Bjork finished 17th overall in the preliminary round (1:06.11), while fellow NU swimmer
Amanda Liew tagged the wall in 21st place with a time of 1:07.59.
Â
Anna Schegoleva's time of 54.77 in the 100 backstroke was 0.13 seconds away from breaking her own program record in the event, but the senior co-captain settled for another NCAA Division I B-cut time and a runner-up finish. Schegoleva caught Drexel's Katie Duggan and James Madison's Mary Warhol during the final 50 yards, coming in just 0.39 seconds behind Wiliam & Mary's Sophie Rittenhouse for first place.
Christine Leong also notched a top-eight result in the 100 backstroke, landing in seventh place overall with a time of 56.03. Browne placed 19th overall after a preliminary round time of 58.81.
