BOSTON – The Northeastern men's basketball team (15-8, 7-3 CAA) will look to pick up its fifth straight home win in conference play when it welcomes Towson (11-12, 4-6 CAA) to Matthews Arena on Wednesday for a 7 p.m. contest.
STORY LINES• Northeastern and Towson will meet for the second time this season and 30th time overall on Wednesday at Matthews Arena. The Huskies edged the Tigers, 52-49, on Jan. 10 in Towson, Maryland, behind a 21-point, 10-for-10 shooting performance by
Scott Eatherton. The Huskies hold a 17-12 advantage in the series and have beaten the Tigers in seven of the last eight meetings.Â
• Eatherton's 10-for-10 effort on Jan. 10 at Towson set a new program record for most field goals made on a perfect shooting day. Damon Singletary held the previous record with a 9-for-9 performance against Delaware on Jan. 13, 1996.
• The Huskies are coming off an 80-61 win over Elon on Saturday at Matthews Arena. Northeastern scored 40 points in each half and shot 59.6 percent en route to its fourth straight home CAA win. Junior
Zach Stahl led four Huskies in double-figure scoring with a career-high-tying 19 points on 8-of-9 shooting.Â

Quincy Ford scored 12 points on Saturday against Elon to surpass the 1,000-point plateau for his career. Ford is the 33rd Husky to score at least 1,000 points and the first since Jonathan Lee accomplished the feat in 2013.
• Freshman
Devon Begley scored a career-high 12 points and hit a career-best three 3-pointers on Saturday against the Phoenix. Northeastern is 7-0 this season when Begley scores at least six points in a game.
• Senior
Scott Eatherton scored 16 points on 8-of-9 shooting against Elon. Eatherton has scored in double figures in 19 of 23 games this season and ranks second in the CAA (and 15th in the nation) with a 58.8 percent shooting clip.
• Northeastern shot 59.6 percent in Saturday's win over Elon to improve to 8-0 on the year when shooting 50 percent or better. The Huskies are shooting 50.2 percent as a team in CAA play this season.
• With Saturday's 80-61 win over Elon, Northeastern improved to 8-0 on the year when scoring at least 70 points. Conversely, the Huskies are 7-8 on the season when scoring 69 points or fewer.
• The Huskies out-rebounded the Phoenix by a 39-27 margin to improve to 13-3 on the season when out-boarding their opponent. Northeastern leads the CAA in rebounding defense with just 29.3 rebounds allowed per game.Â
• According to Kenpom.com, the Huskies are allowing an offensive rebound on just 25.6 percent of opponents' possessions, good for the 15th-best mark in the nation.
