STORY LINES
• Northeastern and Delaware will meet for the second time this season and 47th time overall on Saturday. The Huskies defeated the Blue Hens, 72-53, on Jan. 3 in Newark, Delaware in the CAA opener for both teams. In that game, Scott Eatherton led three Huskies in double-figure scoring with 15 points to help NU snap a four-game losing streak against the Blue Hens.

• The Huskies will be looking for their first home win over Delaware since Jan. 25, 2012. The Blue Hens have gotten the better of Northeastern in each of the last two meetings at Matthews Arena, including a 74-70 decision on Jan. 18, 2014.

• With a win on Saturday, Northeastern will earn the regular season sweep of Delaware for the first time since the 2009-10 season. The Huskies have not beaten the Blue Hens in consecutive meetings since that season when NU posted a 59-55 win at home and a 67-51 victory on the road.

• The Huskies are coming off a 69-62 victory over Towson on Wednesday at Matthews Arena. Northeastern shot 60 percent (21-for-35) and out-rebounded Towson, 31-25, to earn its fifth straight home CAA win.

• Senior Scott Eatherton led four NU players in double-figure scoring with 17 points against the Tigers on Wednesday. Eatherton went 7-for-9 from the floor to improve his season shooting clip to 59.6 percent, which ranks second in the CAA and 11th in the nation.

• Northeastern shot 60 percent from the field on Wednesday vs. Towson for its second 60-plus percent shooting performance of the season (63.8 percent vs. Hofstra on Jan. 14). The last time NU shot 60 percent or better twice in a season was during the 1999-00 campaign when the Huskies shot 60.8 percent against Brown on Jan. 25, 2000, and 60.4 percent against Towson on Feb. 20, 2000.

• Northeastern has been on fire from the field over the last two games, shooting 59.6 percent against Elon on Jan. 31 and 60.0 percent against Towson on Feb. 4. The Huskies are shooting 47.5 percent as a team this season, which ranks 30th in the nation. NU has been even better in CAA games, shooting 50.8 percent against conference foes. The Huskies are 9-0 this season when shooting 50 percent or better.

• Northeastern is 8-0 this season when scoring 70 or more points in a game. Conversely, the Huskies are 8-8 on the season when scoring 69 points or fewer.

• The Huskies lead all CAA teams in rebounding defense with 29.2 boards allowed per game. Northeastern's +5.3 rebounding margin ranks second in the CAA and 36th in the nation. NU has out-rebounded its opponent in 17 of 24 games this season (14-3 in those games).
