After trailing by four at halftime, Northeastern opened the second stanza on a 10-0 run to claim a 35-29 lead with 17:39 remaining. Delaware then clamped down at the defensive end and held the Huskies without a field goal for nearly eight minutes, while building a 47-40 advantage.
The Huskies were able to pull within a basket twice down the stretch, but could never get closer than three as Delaware won its third straight game at Matthews Arena.

T.J. Williams scored 18 points to lead Northeastern, while senior
Reggie Spencer added a season-high 14 points off the bench, including 13 in the first half.

The Huskies struggled to find a rhythm in the early going, opening the game 2-for-9 from the field as Delaware opened up a 12-4 lead at the 12:49 mark of the first half.
Spencer sparked Northeastern into action with four straight field goals, before forcing a turnover that led to a
Quincy Ford 3-pointer to give NU a 16-14 lead with 7:41 to play in the frame.
Delaware outscored the Huskies, 15-9, to close out the half–capped by a jumper from Jeffers and a 3-pointer by Anderson in the final minute–to take a 29-25 lead into the intermission.
Northeastern turned the tides with a 10-0 run to open the second stanza, but could not keep the momentum going as the Blue Hens answered with a decisive 16-3 spurt that ultimately changed the game for good.
The Huskies pulled within three, 55-52, following a 3-pointer by freshman
Devon Begley with 4:52 to play, but Delaware replied with a 5-1 run to go back up by seven.
Northeastern again rallied to within a bucket when junior
