PHILADELPHIA – The Northeastern track and field program had a strong showing at this weekend's Penn Relays with multiple Huskies earning top-five finishes in their respective events.

The prestigious Penn Relays kicked off on Friday for NU with Kyle Darrow, Kevin Rosenberg and a team comprised of Darrow, Jared Lane, Damani Wilson and Donovan Henry competing in three different events. 
 
Darrow, who has dominated in the long jump early in the season, claimed the fourth overall spot with an impressive mark of 7.43 meters. The sophomore has nine top-two finishes this season in the long jump, and earned the ninth overall seed at the Penn Relays.
 
The success for the Westwood, Massachusetts, native was just beginning, however. Darrow, along with Henry, Lane and Wilson competed in the 4x100-meter relay on Friday, securing an 11th-place finish with an outstanding time of 41.22 seconds. The top-11 finish meant the team moved on to the college finals, which would be held on Saturday. In the finals, NU completed the relay in an impressive 40.87 seconds to take home third overall.
 
James Hall would be the final Husky to compete as the redshirt senior represented the Huskies in the hammer throw. Hall finished 32nd after posting a toss of 52.24 meters.

Next up for Northeastern is a trip to Williamsburg, Virginia, to compete in the CAA Championships. The competition will begin on Wednesday, April 29. William & Mary will be hosting the event. For more information, visit the CAA Track and Field website.
