BOSTON – The Northeastern women's soccer team (6-2-0) will close out its non-conference slate this weekend against a pair of opponents from the Granite State, Dartmouth and New Hampshire. Friday's game against the Big Green (3-1-1) will be a matchup of two of the top three teams in the NSCAA Mid-Atlantic Regional Poll as NU enters at No. 2 and Dartmouth enters at No. 3.

Score to Cure/Malia Crushes Cancer event that includes giveaways, promotions, and items for sale with all proceeds benefiting the Malia Crushes Cancer Foundation. The game will also give students another chance to get their Soccer Rewards card punched for additional prizes. Additionally, the Northeastern women's soccer team will be signing autographs after the game. Free shuttle buses to Parsons Field will begin running at 5 p.m. from Chicken Lou's.
HISTORY VS. DARTMOUTHNortheastern and Dartmouth will be meeting for the fourth time in program history on Friday. The Big Green have won all three prior meetings, including a 1-0 decision last season in Hanover, N.H. In that game, Dartmouth's Lucielle Kozlov scored with 14 seconds left in double overtime to hand the Huskies a tough defeat on the road.
HISTORY VS. UNHThe Huskies and Wildcats will clash for the 18th time on Sunday with NU leading the all-time series, 8-6-3. Northeastern is unbeaten in its last nine contests vs. UNH (7-0-2) and is 4-0-1 against the Wildcats under head coach
Tracey Leone. Last season, Kim Slade scored her first collegiate goal to help NU down UNH, 1-0, at Parsons Field. The Huskies outshot the Wildcats by a 26-4 margin in the game.
HOTÂ ATÂ HOMENortheastern is unbeaten in its last 11 games (9-0-2) at Parsons Field dating back to last season. The streak is already good for the longest consecutive home unbeaten spell in program history, surpassing the previous mark of nine straight games without a home loss in 2009. During the current 11-game run, Northeastern has outscored its opponents by a 24-4 margin, including eight clean-sheets.Â
NUÂ RECEIVESÂ VOTEÂ INÂ TOPÂ 25Â POLLThe Huskies received a vote in the latest NSCAA national top 25 poll, released Tuesday, Sept. 15. Northeastern has now received at least one vote in the poll in three of the first five weeks of the season. The Huskies also maintained their grip on the No. 2 spot in the NSCAA Mid-Atlantic Regional Poll for the fourth straight week. Five of the ten spots in the Mid-Atlantic Region currently belong to CAA institutions: William & Mary (No. 1), Northeastern (No. 2), Drexel (No. 5), Hofstra (No. 9), and James Madison (No. 10).Â

CHANCESÂ FROMÂ THEÂ CORNERThe Huskies have out-cornered their opponents in all eight games this season. In total, Northeastern has attempted 58 corner kicks in 2015, compared to just 17 by opponents. Over the last two years, NU is 21-3-3 when attempting more corner kicks than its opponent in a match.
OFFENSIVEÂ OUTBURSTThrough eight games in 2015, Northeastern leads the CAA in several offensive categories. The Huskies rank first in the conference in points (54), points per game (6.75), goals (19), and goals per game (2.38), while ranking second in corner kicks (58), assists (16), and assists per game (2.00).Â
