Box Score | InfographicCHESTNUT HILL, Mass. – Playing against its fourth ranked opponent of the season, the Northeastern Field Hockey team fell 6-1 at No. 11 Boston College Sunday afternoon.
The Huskies were led by
June Curry-Lindahl, who had two shots on goal and NU's lone goal of the game.
Abbey MacLellan and
Kellie Stigas also tallied two shots on goal during the game for Northeastern who finished with 13 shots on the day. Boston College notched 31 shots, led by Lucy Lytle's six shots on goal.

Becky Garner finished the game with 14 saves, one shy of her career-high. Garner tallied 12 saves against Harvard on Friday night, marking the first time in her career that she has notched back-to-back 10-save games.

Boston College jumped out to a quick 2-0 in the first eight minutes as Alesandra Miller tallied back-to-back goals for the Eagles to give them an early lead. Kelcie Hromisin notched BC's third goal of the game 17 minutes into play as the Eagles went into halftime with a 3-0 advantage.

Hromisin notched her second goal of the game a minute and a half into the second half to provide BC with a four goal cushion before the Huskies got one back.
Dribbling into the circle, Curry-Lindahl slammed home her second goal of the season from just inside the circle for the Huskies first goal of the game, and first goal since a 2-1 win at Dartmouth.

BC tacked on a couple more goals in the waning minutes of play to finish with the 6-1 victory.

The six goals allowed, tied a season high. Northeastern also allowed six goals to No. 1 UConn in the season opener.

The Huskies will return to the field on Friday night back on Dedham Field when they play host to Monmouth at 5 p.m.
