David Walker and 18 from
Quincy Ford, the Northeastern men's basketball team earned a hard-fought, 69-60, comeback victory at Delaware Saturday afternoon.

With the win, Northeastern (12-7, 4-2 CAA) snapped a two-game skid and completed the season sweep of Delaware (5-12, 0-6), winning its third-straight game over the Blue Hens.

Head Coach
Bill Coen now has the most conference victories by a Northeastern head coach (96) besting Jim Calhoun (95) with Saturday's victory.

Walker finished the game with 24 points, behind five 3-pointers, four rebounds three assists and three steals. Ford tallied 18 points and eight rebounds on the day, while
Zach Stahl was a point away from a double-double finishing with nine points and 10 rebounds on the day.

Marvin King-Davis earned his ninth double-double of the season with 23 points and 15 rebounds for Delaware

After Delaware got on the board first to begin the game,
Jeremy Miller responded with a jumper, the third straight game the freshman has notched Northeastern's first points of the game.

The two teams went back and forth for the next 12 minutes, before the Blue Hens went on a 9-2 run to take a nine-point lead with 1:30 left in the first half. Behind back-to-back buckets by
T.J. Williams, the Huskies cut the lead to five at the half.

Northeastern shot just 34.5 percent in the first half, making just one three-pointer on 15 attempts and entering the locker room with a season-low tying 23 points at the half.

In the second half, the Huskies came out strong and the 3-pointers began to fall. After cutting the lead to one, 34-33, on a Ford trey, the first Husky shot from deep since the 14:11 mark in the first half, Delaware extended its lead to six.

But Northeastern would begin a 16-2 run, capped by four-straight 3-pointers and six straight baskets to earn a lead it would never relinquish en route to the comeback victory. Â Â Â

The Huskies finished the game 9-of-30 from deep, including an 8-of-15 mark in the second half. From the field the Huskies shot 58.3 percent in the second half finishing with 24 field goals. Â

The Huskies will return to the court on Thursday night when they take on Hofstra at Matthews Arena. The game, which will begin at 8 p.m., will be broadcast live on Comcast SportsNet. Â
