BOSTON – The Northeastern men's basketball team will kick start its home conference season on Thursday night when Delaware comes to Mathews Arena. Tipoff is set for 7 p.m.

Northeastern is coming off of a three-game road swing to the state of North Carolina where the Huskies came away with two conference road wins at Elon and at UNCW to begin the second half of the season.

The Huskies enter the game with a 10-5 record, 2-0 in conference play. The 10-5 record marks the best 15-game start for Northeastern since the 2008-09 season while the 2-0 begin to conference play is the best since 2012-13.

Delaware comes to Boston with a 5-8 overall record, 0-2 in conference action.

QUICK HITS• This is the 96th season of Northeastern men's basketball. Northeastern has an all-time record of 1,164-1,075 (.520) in 2,239 games.

• Delaware is led by Kory Holden who is averaging 16.6 points per game. Holden is just one of three Blue Hens to average double figures on the year, Cazmon Hayes is averaging 14.8 points per game while Marvin King-Davis is tallying 13.4 points per game.
• Delaware has started nine different players on the season, however King-Davis is the only player to have played and started all 13 games on the year.

Quincy Ford earned CAA Player of the Week honors for the third time in the 2015-16 season and for the second straight week
