BROOKLINE, Mass. – The Northeastern women's soccer team (10-6-1, 5-2-0 CAA) will close out the regular season this weekend when it welcomes Towson (Friday, 6 p.m.) and James Madison (Sunday, 1 p.m.) to Parsons Field. Sunday's match will be televised courtesy of the American Sports Network and will be available in these markets

PLAYOFF PICTURE
Northeastern heads into the final weekend of CAA play in a two-way tie for first place with Sunday's counterpart, James Madison, at 15 points in the standings. Both NU and JMU have already clinched playoff berths, but can still finish anywhere from first to sixth with two matches to play. All 10 teams in the conference are still alive for the playoffs heading into the final weekend.

SENIOR DAY SUNDAY
Prior to Sunday's match, Northeastern will honor 11 seniors for their contributions to the program: Caton Beaulieu, Carina Deandreis, Mackenzie Dowd, Breeana Koemans, Skylar LeBlanc, Krista Meaglia, Jill Quinn, Jenny Sinclair, Haley Sinclair, Kimberly Slade and Nicole Wilkins. All 11 student-athletes were members of the Huskies' back-to-back CAA championship runs in 2013 and 2014.

LAST TIME OUT
Despite outshooting Hofstra by a 12-3 margin in the second half, the women's soccer team was unable to find an equalizer in a 2-1 loss on Oct. 15. After two early goals by the hosts, the Huskies responded on the brink of halftime on a goal by junior Carly Wilhelm. Wilhelm was able to race onto a pass from sophomore Hannah Rosenblatt, dribble around Hofstra keeper Frederike Mehring, and bury the ball into the open net in the 41st minute. Northeastern then pro- ceeded to dominate the second stanza, but could not find a way through as Mehring made eight saves.

NU RANKED IN REGIONAL POLL
Northeastern was ranked in the NSCAA Mid-Atlantic Regional Poll for the third week in a row, placing at No. 6 in the latest rankings. After landing at No. 7 in the poll on Oct. 4, the Huskies moved up to No. 5 on Oct. 11. Once again, NU is the only CAA team to appear in the regional poll this week.

ROSENBLATT ADDS ANOTHER POINT
After tallying her fourth assist of the season against Hofstra, sophomore forward Hannah Rosenblatt is now tied for third in the CAA with 20 points. Last week, she was named the CAA Player of the Week after registering goals against William & Mary and Elon. Rosenblatt is one of 14 players in NU women's soccer history to tally at least 20 points in a single season. Rosenblatt has a team-high eight goals in 2016 after recording just one goal in 18 matches last year.

HUSKIES STAY HUNGRY
The Huskies have yet to lose two games in a row this season, proving their resilience each week with a 4-0-1 record following a loss. Those bounce-back games include a 4-0 trouncing of Holy Cross, a 2-0 shutout of Boston University and a 1-0 overtime victory over Drexel.
