BOSTON – The Northeastern men's basketball team continues its six-game road trip in the Green Mountain State on Saturday afternoon when they take on Vermont at the Patrick Gymnasium at 1 p.m.

Saturday's game will mark the first time since the 2011-12 and 2012-13 season since the two teams have faced each other in back-to-back seasons

• Vermont is 7-3 in its first 10 games on the season with its three losses coming against Providence, Houston and #20 South Carolina
• The Catamounts started the season off with a win at Quinnipiac, had a four-game win streak in the middle of the year and has won a pair against Ivy League foes Yale and Dartmouth heading into Saturday's game

RETURNING TO ITS ROOTS
• Northeastern will return to its America East roots a handful of times this season
• Heading into the game with Vermont, Northeastern has already faced a former America East conference member four times on the year
• The Huskies began the season against America East foe and crosstown rival Boston University (currently of the Patriot League) winning 87-77 in the season opener before falling 65-63 in a rematch the following week
• The Huskies also took on Maine during the Steve Wright Classic, a 80-72 victory for the Huskies
• Last weekend, the Huskies headed to Stony Brook, a game that the Seawolves won 77-75 in the final seconds
• The Huskies will round out their games against AE opponents on Saturday against Vermont before closing out their non-conference season in the state of Michigan

• The Huskies continued on their six-game road trip with a Tuesday night game at Harvard this week
• Though they were down by 20, midway through the second half, the Huskies battled back to make it a four-point game down the stretch before the Crimson hung on for a six-point victory

• The road trip will take them 2,789 miles and to three different states beginning with a midweek contest at Cornell, the first on Cornell's campus since the 1983-84 season
• The road trip also includes contests at Stony Brook, at Harvard, at Vermont, at Michigan State and at Oakland
• The Huskies hit a couple bumps in the road in New York falling to Cornell (80-77), Stony Brook (77-75) and Harvard (86-80) and will look to bounce back against Vermont on Saturday

T.J. Williams has recorded seven 20+ point games on the year, including a 30-point effort, a career first for the senior, against Boston University in the season opener
• The last Husky to record as many 20+ point games through the first nine games of the season was Jose Juan Barea, who had seven such games to start the 2005-06 season, also his senior campaign, more than 10 years ago
• Through the first nine games, Williams is averaging a CAA leading 22.4 points per game, 6.6 apg, and 4.1 rebounds per game

Alex Murphy reset his career scoring mark at Cornell (Nov. 30)
• After a career night in his Husky debut against Boston University netting 20 points, four rebounds and four assists, Murphy went off for 24 points at Cornell
• His 24 points, came on 11-of-16 shooting, both career bests for the Duke and Florida transfer
• He also added four assists, the second time in his career that he has reached that mark, and six rebounds, his fourth career 5+ rebound game and second of the season
• Another career best came on Nov. 14 at UConn when he pulled down 15 rebounds, doubling his previous career best (7)
• Murphy has recorded a 14.1 point per game average to go along with 5.9 rebounds per game
• This season, Murphy has set new season-highs just nine games into play
• His 127 points, 47 field goals, 8 treys, 51 rebounds, 22 assists, 10 steals are all the most he has had in a single season in his career, and just nine games into the year

• Williams notched the first 30-point game of his career to begin the season against Boston University and has 20+ point games in seven of nine games this season
