THE WEEK IN REVIEW
After splitting a pair of matches in Philadelphia last weekend, the Huskies returned home with a vengeance on Thursday in a 4-0 rout of Holy Cross at Parsons Field. Junior forward Kayla Cappuzzo notched her first collegiate two-goal game, while junior Hannah Lopiccolo and sophomore Hannah Rosenblatt added a goal and an assist each. Junior Carly Wilhelm chipped in two assists to move into a tie for seventh place all-time at Northeastern with nine career helpers.

The Eastern Collegiate Athletic Conference (ECAC) announced Friday that senior Mackenzie Dowd and associate athletic director emeritus Jack Grinold have been named the conference's recipients of the Female Scholar-Athlete of the Year and James Lynah Distinguished Achievement Award, respectively. A dual major in criminal justice and psychology, Dowd was named the CAA Female Scholar Athlete of the Year for 2015-16 after repeating as the Women's Soccer Fall Scholar-Athlete selection following a successful year on and off the pitch as a junior in 2015.
