BOSTON – The Northeastern men's basketball team heads into its three-game homestand at Matthews Arena Thursday night, on a five-game win streak.

The Huskies will kick off their longest homestand of the season, after playing just two non-conference home games, against Delaware Thursday night at 7 p.m.

The Huskies have won five-straight games heading into Thursday's meeting with Delaware earning wins at Vermont, Michigan State, Oakland, in the CAA opener against William & Mary, blowing out the Tribe, and in their first CAA road game of the year at Drexel.

• This is the 97th season of Northeastern men's basketball. Northeastern has an all-time record of 1,181-1,090 (.520) in 2,271 games

• Thursday's game will be the 200th CAA game the Huskies have played in (regular season and conference tournament) since joining the league in the 2006-07 season

THREE-GAME HOMESTAND
• Northeastern will return home for the longest homestand of the season
• After playing just two games at home during the non-conference slate, the Huskies are home for three-straight beginning with Delaware (Jan. 5)
• The homestand continues against James Madison (Jan. 7) and will round out with the 2016-17 series finale against Drexel (Jan. 12)
• The Huskies are 3-0 at home this season, notching two of their biggest wins of the year (87-77 vs. BU; 84-64 vs. W&M) while also completing the largest comeback win of the year, after being down 17 at the half to Kent State (Nov. 27)

• Delaware is off to a 7-8 record on the season under first year head coach Martin Ingelsby, however they are 0-2 to begin the conference season after falling to Hofstra and College of Charleston
• The Blue Hens are 2-4 on the season on the road this year with their wins coming over Bradley and Miami (OH)
• Delaware enters Thursday's game with the Huskies on a two-game losing streak

• Delaware is led by Ryan Daly who is averaging 13.1 points and 7.1 rebounds a game while adding 10 steals on the season

Quincy Ford, Northeastern earned a hard-fought, 69-60, comeback victory at Delaware
• With the win, Northeastern snapped a two-game skid and completed the season sweep of Delaware, winning its third-straight game over the Blue Hens.

Bill Coen now has the most conference victories by a Northeastern head coach (96) besting Jim Calhoun (95) with Saturday's victory.

THIS WEEK IN NU BASKETBALL
• After a 10-day break, the Huskies came out firing with their largest victory ever over William & Mary on Saturday afternoon
• Northeastern won its fourth-straight game with an 84-64 win over the Tribe and captured its fourth straight conference opening win with the victory
• The Huskies shot 62.5 percent from the field in the first half of play, finishing with a 57.1 shooting percentage at the end of the game as four different Huskies tallied double-digit scoring efforts
• Northeastern was led by
Alex Murphy who netted a career-high tying 24 points while
Devon Begley needed a career-best 21 points as well as seven rebounds and five assists, for his first career 20-point effort

T.J. Williams added 16 points, six rebounds and six assists and in his first career start,
Anthony Green had a career-high 13 points and nine rebounds while making a career-best two steals
• The Huskies added to that win streak on Monday afternoon with a hard-fought road win at Drexel
• In their first overtime game of the season, Northeastern erased a nine-point, second-half deficit to force overtime behind a clutch 3-pointer by
Bolden Brace with just over 30 seconds remaining
• The Huskies gained a five-point edge in the OT period starting things off with a dunk by Murphy followed by a Williams three-point play
• Brace went 4-of-4 from the line down the stretch n the OT stanza to solidify the Huskies' 75-70 victory
