NEWTON, Mass. – No. 10 Boston College sent in the game-winning goal off of a penalty corner in the 65
th minute of play to sneak by the Northeastern field hockey team Friday night in Newton.

The Huskies and Eagles both finished with 11 shots, though Northeastern outshot BC 7-4 on goal as Sarah Dwyer finished with six saves on the day.
Julia Gluyas had two saves and allowed two goals on the night.

The Huskies lone goal of the game came from
Aniek van de Graaf off of a penalty corner.

The Huskies finished the first half outshooting the Eagles 7-5 with
June Curry-Lindahl leading the charge with three shots, two on goal while Northeastern was able to draw a pair of penalty corners while holding BC without any.

FIRST HALF
Boston College 1-0: Alesandra Miller dribbled along the baseline and beat the Northeastern defenders into the circle where she slipped a pass up to Fusine Govaert who beat Gluyas stick side to the back left corner of the goal for the score in the 11
th minute of play.

SECOND HALF
Northeastern 1-1:
Aniek van de Graaf evened the score at one-all with her second goal of the season creating a fresh game with just over 21 minutes left in play. The goal came directly off of a penalty corner as Curry-Lindahl inserted,
Ffion Thompson stopped and kicked out a pass to van de Graaf who snuck her shot through the BC defensive line for the score.

Boston College 2-1: Frederique Haverhals sent in the game-winner with 5:40 left to play utilizing BC's second penalty corner of the game to send in the game-deciding goal. Alesandra Miller had the helper on the goal. Â Â
