BOSTON -- The Northeastern women's soccer team (10-5-3, 4-1-3) has already locked up a bid to the CAA tournament, but will determine its seeding at UNCW on Sunday at 1 p.m.

CAA outlook

Northeastern has clinched a top-three spot in the CAA tournament, but the Huskies will have to wait until after Sunday's action to know their cemented seed. Currently, NU holds third place in the conference, but could move into second with a tie or win at UNCW and a Drexel loss at Elon. Hofstra finished first in the conference and will host the conference tournament.

Northeastern Milestones

In NU's 4-2 triumph over William & Mary on Sunday, two Huskies reached career milestones that will go down in women's soccer history at Northeastern. In the 36th minute, senior Kayla Cappuzzo picked up her 20th career assist to break the record for assists at Northeastern. She registered another assist later in the game on senior Hannah Lopiccolo's game-winning goal. It was Lopiccolo's 20th career goal, making her the seventh player in Husky history to hit the 20-goal mark. Junior Hannah Rosenblatt is a single goal from joining Lopiccolo in the 20-goal club.

Scouting UNCW

The UNCW Seahawks sit in last place in the CAA with a record of 2-5-1 in conference play and an overall mark of 6-10-2. UNCW is coming off a huge win over Elon on Thursday that had major implications on the conference table. Molly McGarry and Serenity Waters are tied for the team lead in points with 11 each. McGarry leads the Seahawks in goals with five. In net, Sydney Schneider has played every minute for UNCW and has a record of 6-10-2.
