NEW BRITAIN, Conn. – Freshman Grace Bugara finished in seventh place at the Central Connecticut State Mini Meet on Friday. The women's and men's cross country teams finished in 6th place and 8th place, respectively, in the final regular season meet of the season.
 
The women averaged a time of 10:54 in the 3k totaling 196 points. Bugara crossed at 10:32, while Corinne Myers and Kelsey Walak finished with times of 10:42 and 10:59, respectively.
 
The men averaged an 15:56 5k and posted 212 points. Eric Clay led the way for the Huskies finishing with a time of 15:45. Michael Duggan and Ty Miller were not far behind Clay, with times of 15:49 and 15:54, respectively.
 
Next Up
The Huskies begin the postseason at the Colonial Athletic Association Championship on Saturday, October 28 at 10 a.m.
