BOSTON – Northeastern men's and women's cross country teams will travel to New York to compete in the NCAA Regional Championships hosted by the University of Buffalo on Friday.

Eight men and eight women will race for the Red and Black. The women's 6k race start at 11 a.m. and the men's 10k race will follow at 12 p.m.

At the 2016 NCAA Regional, the men's team finished in 14th in the 10k with 439 points, while the women's team finished in 17th with 519 points.

Paul Duffey and Chance Lamberth led the Huskies, finishing 57th and 58th, respectively. Duffey finished with a time of 31:59.25 and Lamberth finished in 31:59.40.

Jordan O'Dea led the women's team, crossing the line 34th overall with a time of 21:24.70. Lucy Yong finished in 70th with a time of 21:58.70.
