BOSTON - On Tuesday, December 5, the Northeastern Athletic department, in collaboration with former men's basketball standout J.J. Barea and the Northeastern Latinx Student Cultural Center will host Paws For Puerto Rico, a night of fundraising for Puerto Rican hurricane relief.
As
announced previously, the night will take place as the men's basketball team takes on Bucknell at 7 p.m.
At the game, there are many ways to participate in the fundraiser:
- Each person who donates to the cause will receive a 'Los Huskies' t shirt
- Just by buying a ticket you have helped, as ticket sales from the night will be donated to the hurricane relief fund
- There will be a silent auction, with all of the proceeds going to the J.J. Barea Foundation's hurrican relief efforts
Items in the silent auction include a foursome to the Northeastern golf tournament, Northeastern athletics swag, Barea signed memorabilia as well as an autographed team basketball featuring the 2017-18 Boston Celtics.
