BOSTON – The Northeastern men's basketball team will take on UNCW Thursday night at Matthews Arena at 7 p.m. on Club Matthews Night.

This week the Huskies will wrap up their home season beginning with Thursday's contest against the first place team in the CAA, UNCW, concluding with Saturday afternoon's contest against the College of Charleston on Senior Day at 1 p.m.

SCOUTING THE SEAHAWKS
• UNCW is 22-5 on the season, and 11-3 in conference play thus far. The Seahawks have lost two of their three conference games on the road falling at William & Mary, their first conference loss of the season (Jan. 28) and, most recently, at Elon their last time out.
• The Seahawks are 9-3 on the road this year, 5-2 in conference action
• UNCW lost to just Middle Tennesse and Clemson during non-conference action accumulating win streaks of eight and nine games this season

• Northeastern cut a 10-point UNCW lead with 1:14 on the clock to just one with 14 seconds left in the game, but fell just short to the Seahawks, 73-70 in the CAA Tournament Semifinal game last season

• The Huskies started the week off with a bang when they down CAA first place team Charleston on the road on Thursday night
• The Huskies fought off a 16-point halftime deficit to come back and defeat The College on a buzzer-beating shot by
Bolden Brace that found its way to the No. 1 play of the day on SportsCenter
• Brace finished with nine points and five assists on the night for the Huskies who were led by
Alex Murphy's 19 points and eight assists

Anthony Green tallied his first career double-double with a 15-point, 10 rebound effort, both career highs for the sophomore
•
Devon Begley added 16 points, all of which came in an 11-minute span at the beginning of the second half helping propel the Huskies back into the game and to the win
• On Saturday night, the Huskies returned home to face Hofstra
• The two teams were square through 35 minute of action, but in the final five minutes of play, Hofstra pulled away using a 10-0 run for a 74-64 victory

• Though the double-double was not the first of Williams' career, it was the first of the points/assists variety as he tallied 26 points and 10 assists in the effort, a career high for Williams
