CAMBRIDGE, Mass. – Led by the throwing squads, the Northeastern track and field team completed a successful day at the Crimson Elite Meet hosted by Harvard.
 
In the women's shot put and both the men's and women's weight throw, the Huskies placed three athletes in the top 10 of each event, the only school to do so. Erica Belvit and Connor Fugere placed third overall in the weight throws with marks of 17.22m and 16.50m respectively.
 
Northeastern also took the number two spot in both high jumps with sophomore school record holder Paige Suse jumping 1.74m and senior Chris Manning leaping 1.90m
 
On the track, rookie Naukym Morton set a new school record in the 60-meter dash clocking 6.78, breaking teammate Kyle Darrow's time from just last week of 6.81 seconds.

Additionally, the men's distance medley relay broke the NU program record by nine seconds, stopping the clock at 9:39.88. The time currently ranks No. 8 in the NCAA.
 
Northeastern returns to competition on Saturday, Feb. 4^th at the Scarlet and White meet hosted by Boston University.
