BOSTON – The Northeastern track and field team competed for the second straight day on Saturday, Feb. 4th at Boston University's Scarlet and White meet. The women finished 8^th out of 18 teams with 29 points while the men completed the meet in 7^th place out of 17 teams with 42 points. Over the weekend, the team combined for 19 personal bests, seven NU top 10 marks, 40 New England qualifying marks, 19 ECAC/IC4A performances, 24 top 10 finishes and two school records.
 
Freshman standout Erica Belvit recorded an impressive 17.71m weight throw, just 1.31m short of the school record and 5^th on the NU all-time list. Lauren Swanson's throw of 15.80m ranks No.10 all-time.
 
Kyle Darrow continued his dominance in the long jump, grabbing first place with a leap of 7.40m.
 
On the track, after setting a new school record on Friday, Naukym Morton ran just 0.01 seconds slower on Saturday, winning the 60m dash in 6.79. Patrice Williams ran another blazing 500m with a time of 1:14.66, just under a second shy of the school record and No. 5 on the NU all-time list.
