CAMBRIDGE, Mass. – The Huskies' women's team took first place at the Battle in Beantown on Saturday, earning 22 top-10 finishes and 11 top-three finishes. The men's team finished fourth, with 23 top-10 finishes and eight top-three finishes. Northeastern took home five events titles.

The women's meet was highlighted by
Erica Belvit,
Lauren Swanson and
Monae Cooper taking first, second and third, respectively, in the weight throw. This was Belvit's first win of the season.

Senior
Jessica Scott finished third in the 60m and fourth in the 200m, while
Corinne Myers and
Amy Piccolo took third and fourth in the 500m.
Sarah Adler crossed first in the 1000m, with a time of 2:54.20. The senior's time ranks seventh best in indoor program history. was also a member of the second-place 4x880 relay.

Paige Suse finished first in the high jump with 1.73m, her best mark of the season.
Louiza Wise took fourth in the 3000m, with a time of 10:10.95, the 10th best time in indoor program history

Dametrius O'Connor had a good day for the Red and Black, taking second place in the 200m and fifth place in the 60m.
Ryan Kim earned firs place in the shot put for the third time this season.

Senior
Eric Mellusi finished second and fourth in the weight throw and shot put, respectively, while
Travis Kartz finished third in the pole vault.

In total, Northeastern posted 45 top-10 finishes, 19 top-three finishes and five first-place finishes.

Five Huskies competed in the Harvard Multi Meet on Friday and Saturday.
Julia Marshall took eighth place in the pentathlon, while
Anna Noble finished 11th.

In the men's heptathlon, Matt Richards earned fifth place,
Nick Fofana finished seventh and
Mark Puglia placed 11th.
