Highlights
BOSTON – The Northeastern women's hockey team (12-10-3, 8-7-2 WHEA) overturned a two-goal deficit to take a third-period lead, but had to settle for a tie as Boston University's Victoria Bach evened the score in the final seconds of regulation in a 3-3 final on Tuesday night at Matthews Arena.

Northeastern came within 3.3 seconds of earning its first-ever regular-season sweep over the Terriers (8-13-5, 4-10-4 WHEA) in the Hockey East era before Bach leveled the score with her third goal of the game to earn a share of the spoils for the visitors.
Freshman
Aerin Frankel stopped 26 shots, while BU's Corinne Schroeder made 37 saves as the Huskies enjoyed a 40-29 shot advantage.

• The Terriers struck first at the 12:18 mark of the opening period when Rebecca Leslie skated in on the right wing and centered for Victoria Bach to fire home from point-blank range.
• Bach doubled the BU lead at 7:06 of the second stanza, forcing a turnover in the Northeastern zone, before skating in alone and roofing a backhand at the right of the cage.

Kasidy Anderson sparked the Huskies with her 10th goal of the season late in the second period. After a turnover in the neutral zone, Anderson skated in with speed on the left wing and wristed a shot short-side, inside the left post at the 14:45 mark to make it 2-1 Terriers.
• The Huskies tied the game at 8:17 of the third period when sophomore
Matti Hartman gathered the puck behind the BU net and delivered a beautiful backhand feed into the low slot for
Veronika Pettey to hammer home.
• Northeastern then took the lead at 12:15 of the final frame with a shorthanded goal from
Denisa Krizova. Senior
McKenna Brand won a defensive-zone faceoff forward to
Denisa Krizova, who poked the puck by a BU defender and raced down the ice on a breakaway. Krizova deked, then slipped the puck through the five-hole of Schroeder for NU's first shorthanded goal of the season.
• Bach evened the score at 3-3 when she poked home a rebound at the right of the net at 19:56 of the third period with the goalie pulled in favor of the extra attacker.
