DECIDING FACTOR
Northeastern funneled in 12 3-pointers while Delaware managed to shoot just one-for-13 from behind the perimeter. The Huskies dropped six 3-pointers during the opening quarter en route to building a 23-12 lead and tacked on three more during the second quarter, taking a 41-24 advantage into the half.
Â
NU also boasted a +7 advantage in turnovers, committing only 10 during the game – the second fewest NU has registered this season.
Â
The Huskies' second half lead fell to as low as nine points with 5:12 left in the third quarter, but a 3-point response by
Stella Clark would put Northeastern ahead by double digits for the remainder of the contest.
