BOSTON – With its ticket to the 2018 CAA tournament already punched, the Northeastern women's soccer team will play for a bye to the league semifinals on Sunday, Oct. 14, when the Huskies travel to College of Charleston for a 12 p.m. kickoff against the Cougars.
 
CLINCHING SCENARIOS
 
Northeastern can clinch a bye to the CAA semifinals if any of the following scenarios unfold on Sunday:
 
• Northeastern win
• Northeastern draw AND William & Mary loss or draw

 
Northeastern can clinch the No. 1 seed and at least a share of the 2018 CAA regular season championship if the following scenario unfolds on Sunday:
 
• Northeastern win AND James Madison loss
 
SERIES HISTORY
 
• The Huskies have won each of their six prior meetings against College of Charleston, sporting a +17 goal differential.
 
• Sunday's match will be a rematch of the 2017 CAA quarterfinals, when third-seeded Northeastern routed the sixth-seeded Cougars, 6-0, at Parsons Field.
