COLUMBUS, Ohio – Megan Clark competed at Ohio State's Last Chance Meet on Sunday. In both of her events, the sophomore set a new school record and a new all-time Colonial Athletic Association record.
Clark swam the 50 and 100 freestyle in Columbus looking to improve her times to qualify for the 2018 NCAA Championships on March 15-17.
The Virginia native did just that in both events, posting a time of 22.29 in the 50 freestyle and a time of 48.47 in the 100 freestyle. Both times broke the school records that she had set last weekend at the CAA Championships.
She also broke the CAA records in both events set by William and Mary's Katie Radloff in 2009.
In the NCAA, Clark is now ranked 37th in the 100 freestyle and 40th in the 50 freestyle. The NCAA will announce championship qualifiers on Wednesday.
