Beanpot Ticket Sale

Beanpot student ticket sale is Saturday at Matthews Arena!

BOSTON – Coming off of their first Beanpot championship in 30 years, the Northeastern men's ice hockey team is looking to make it two in a row, and they need the Northeastern faithful there to cheer them on!

This Saturday, Jan. 12, Northeastern students are invited to come to Matthews Arena to purchase their ticket for the big event next month. The ticket sale will be held from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. in the Varsity Club at Matthews Arena – fans should enter through the VIP entrance located on the side of the arena.

To purchase a ticket, individuals must present their NUIDs and cannot buy more than one per person. All fans in line by 1 p.m. will be able to purchase a ticket, but the line will be cut off at that point.

Tickets cost $30 for corner balcony and $42 for center balcony and include admission to both nights of the tournament at TD Garden. Cash and credit cards will be accepted.

Tickets for the general public will be available through the TD Garden Box Office.

The No. 11/12 Huskies will face off against Boston University in their first game on Monday, Feb. 4 at 8 p.m. Northeastern defeated the Terriers in the championship game of last year's Beanpot, 5-2.  The two teams have faced off twice so far this season, including a thrilling 5-5 overtime draw.

Harvard and Boston College will open the tournament earlier the same day at 5 p.m. The consolation and championship games will take place the following Monday, Feb. 11, at 4:30 and 7:30 p.m., respectively.

Northeastern took home the Beanpot last year behind the outstanding play of tournament MVP Adam Gaudette and Eberly Award winner Cayden Primeau, who will be back between the posts again this year.
