• NU is 1-2 against opponents that have been ranked in the Women's Mid-Major Top 25. The Huskies' lone win took place against No. 15 Maine (Dec. 22) while their two defeats occurred against No. 14 Marist (Dec. 18) and No. 12 James Madison (Jan. 13).
• At No. 17, Northeastern was the third highest CAA program to appear in the Jan. 15 poll, trailing No. 11 James Madison and No. 16 Drexel. With three ranked teams, the CAA was tied with the MAC as the conference with the most poll representation.
• Northeastern's No. 25 ranking on Nov. 20 marked the program's first-ever poll placement under the leadership of fifth-year head coach Kelly Cole. NU last received votes in the Women's Mid-Major Top 25 poll on Nov. 26, 2013, despite being unranked.

ALL-TIME SERIES
• Northeastern is seeking its first series win against Drexel since Jan. 8, 2016, when the Huskies earned the 73-65, overtime victory at the Daskalakis Athletic Center in Philadelphia. Then-freshman Jess Genco flirted with a triple-double during the game, finishing with eight points, seven rebounds and six assists during 45 minutes of action.
• Since Northeastern's Jan. 2016 victory against the Dragons, Drexel has won seven consecutive series meetings.
• The Huskies and the Dragons have opposed each other during two of the last three CAA tournaments (2016 semifinals, 2017 quarterfinals), despite Drexel prevailing during both postseason meetings.
• NU trails the all-time series, 30-20. After Northeastern won 16 of the series' first 20 meetings, Drexel has since won 26 of the last 30 contests. Three of the Huskies' four series wins since the beginning of the 2000-01 season have taken place at Cabot Center.

RECORD & MILESTONE WATCH
• Jess Genco enters Friday's game with 459 career assists – five shy of tying Tesha Tinsley's program record (464). Genco is also two points away from becoming the 10th Northeastern women's basketball player to eclipse 1,300 career points.
• Senior forward Gabby Giacone is in active pursuit of becoming the 21st member of the Huskies' 1,000-point scoring club. Giacone arrives at Friday's game with 965 career points to her name.

LAST TIME OUT
• Northeastern ran into a hot-shooting James Madison squad on Jan. 13 as the No. 12 mid-major team defeated the No. 11 Huskies, 84-49. The result presented NU with two consecutive losses for the first time during the 2018-19 season.
• Seniors Gabby Giacone and Jess Genco led the Huskies with 15 and 13 points, respectively.
• NU trailed JMU, 29-23, at the end of the game's competitive first quarter. Both teams opened shooting 50 and 57 percent from the field, respectively.
