Â
BOSTON – Looking to bounce back from Saturday's defeat against Dayton, the Northeastern women's basketball team will line up against another Atlantic 10 foe on Wednesday, Nov. 20, when the Huskies pay Fordham a visit at Rose Hill Gymnasium. Wednesday's game will air live on ESPN+ with coverage beginning at 7 p.m.
Â
THREE THINGS TO KNOW
1.
Last Year's Meeting: Northeastern knocked off Fordham – the 2019 Atlantic 10 champion – at Cabot Center during the Huskies' second game of the 2018-19 season (58-54).
Ayanna Dublin notched her first career double-double, leading NU with 14 points and 11 points while
Shannon Todd added 12 points and four boards. The Huskies trimmed their 11-point deficit during the second quarter down to three points by halftime (24-21) before holding the Rams to 31 percent shooting after the intermission. With the win, NU extended its lead in the all-time series to 3-0.

2.
Heading the Point:Â Junior guard
Stella Clark leads Northeastern in scoring through the team's first three games of the 2019-20 season, averaging 14.0 points per game. The Sea Girt, New Jersey, native paces the CAA in assists per game (5.3), logging a career high, eight assists, during the Huskies' season opener against South Dakota. Clark's seven steals this year rank second on the squad behind sophomore forward
Alexis Hill, who has paired 10 steals with five blocks on top of averaging 11.7 points and 5.0 rebounds per outing.
Â
3.
Oldest of Venues: Northeastern's trip to Rose Hill Gymnasium on Wednesday will mark yet another stop for the Huskies at one of college basketball's oldest venues during the 2019 calendar year. The Huskies – who called Matthews Arena (oldest, 1910) home on Jan. 20 – visited Hinkle Fieldhouse (sixth oldest, 1928) for their 2019 WNIT game at Butler and now have a matchup against Fordham at the sport's second oldest venue (opened 1925). NU will also visit Lavietes Pavilion (third oldest, 1926) when the Huskies travel to Harvard on Dec. 4.
