BOSTON
Dametrius O'Connor set a meet record with an ECAC/IC4A qualifying time of 21.91 in the men's 200 meters, while Leeyan Redwood recorded an ECAC/IC4A qualifying mark in the women's shot put at 49 feet, 10.50 inches, to lead the Northeastern men's and women's track and field teams at the Joe Donahue Games on Saturday at the Reggie Lewis Track and Athletic Center.
 
The Huskies opened the meet with a 1-2-3 finish in the women's 3,000 meters, led by Louiza Wise (10:04.77), Grace Bugara (10:21.77) and Juliet Bussell (10:31.30). In the men's race, Bryan Keller (8:28.15), Patrick Mullen (8:28.53) and Matthew Schaefer (8:28.64) finished 2-3-4 and ran personal-best times.
 
David Adams ran a personal-record time of 8.11 in the men's 60-meter hurdles to cross the finish line in first place, while his teammate Mayowa Osunsami finished third with a time of 8.29. Both of them earned ECAC/IC4A qualifying times.
 
Erica Belvit and Monae Cooper earned first- and second-place finishes for the Huskies in the women's weight throw, qualifying for the ECAC/IC4A Championships with marks of 60 feet, 3.75 inches and 54 feet, 8 inches, respectively.
 
Khamil Evans captured the title in the 400 meters with a time of 49.02, and Kelsey Walak won the mile race with a time of 5:10.69. In the men's mile, Alexander Korczynski ran an ECAC/IC4A qualifying time of 4:12.48 to finish in third place.
 
Mange Camara (6.94), Brandon Moorer (6.96) and O'Connor (6.97) clocked ECAC/IC4A qualifying times in the men's 60-meter dash to finish in first, third and fourth place, respectively. Max Spencer clocked a time of 2:33.50 in the men's 1000 meters to cross the finish line in first place.
 
The Huskies posted a 1-5 finish in the 200 meters, led by O'Connor, Adams (21.98) and Camara (21.99), all ECAC/IC4A qualifying times. Moorer and Quinn Litherland finished fourth and fifth for Northeastern.
 
In the men's high jump, Phillips Magre earned a first-place finish with a personal-best jump of 6 feet, 6.75 inches. Finishing in third place was Ugonna Anuonyemere with a personal-record mark of 6 feet, 2.75 inches.
 
The men's and women's track and field teams will be off until after the New Year, when they will compete in the Harvard Multi Meet on Jan. 10th.
