BOSTON– Before the final home game of the regular season, the Northeastern men's basketball team will honor its Senior Class on Saturday, Feb. 23 at 12:30 p.m. when the Huskies take on Towson at Matthews Arena.

The Senior Day ceremony honoring Anthony Green, Jeremy Miller and Vasa Pusica will begin about 15 minutes before tip time so get to the game early to celebrate our seniors.

Here is what you need to know about Saturday's game:

THREE THINGS TO KNOW:

  1. The Senior Class

  • The three members of this year's senior class have each made an impact on the Northeastern men's basketball program in their own unique ways over the course of the last four seasons
  • The trio of Anthony Green, Jeremy Miller and Vasa Pusica has combined for 73 victories during their time in the Red and Black and helped the Huskies to a share of the CAA Regular Season Championship last season
  • Together they have played in 324 collegiate games and combined for 2,487 career points

  1. Taming the Tigers

  • Towson enters Saturday's game with the Huskies off of a tough double overtime loss to Hofstra on Thursday
  • The Tigers are 10-18 overall and 6-9 in conference play this season
  • Towson is also 4-7 away from home this season winning three conference games at Elon, Delaware, and UNCW

  • Tobias Howard is the Tigers' only other double-digit scorer this year averaging 10.5 ppg
  • Howard also leads the team with 73 assists this year as well as 20 steals

ALL-TIME SERIES
  • This will be the 30th meeting between the two teams with the Huskies holding the series lead 23-16
  • Northeastern is picked up its first regular season sweep of Towson since the 2014-15 season last year taking both of the games from the Tigers, within a 12-day span winning the first 77-62 at Towson and wrapping up the home season with an 80-75 victory at Matthews Arena
  • Towson picked up their first win since the 2016-17 season over the Huskies earlier this year battling to a 75-72 victory on their home court

  1. Get that outta here
