BOSTON – Renewing its annual series with its longtime rival, the Northeastern baseball team will host Boston College on Tuesday, March 19, at Friedman Diamond. First pitch between the Huskies and the Eagles is scheduled for 3 p.m.

5 THINGS 2 KNOW
• Northeastern defeated Boston College, 7-4, during a marathon, 18-inning game last season that lasted five hours and 24 minutes – the Huskies' second longest game in program history in terms of both innings played and game duration. The game took place on opening night of the Eagles' Brighton Field (since named Harrington Athletic Village).
• The Huskies' 2018 regular season win against BC marked their first win against the Eagles spanning seven attempts since April 21, 2014.
•Â
Scott Holzwasser enters Tuesday's game riding a 26-game reached base streak, dating back to the 2018 season. Holzwasser leads the CAA and ranks 53rd among Division I players in on-base percentage (.513).
•Â
Kyle Murphy is projected to make his first collegiate start since the receiving the ball during the first game of the 2018 CAA championship round against UNCW. Murphy struck out seven batters, limiting the Seahawks to two hits across six innings pitched. He also started the Huskies' 2019 spring training exhibition game against the Boston Red Sox, pitching a scoreless first inning.
• Northeastern is 4-1 against against New England opponents during the 2019 season, winning three out of four games this past weekend at Friedman Diamond against Holy Cross.
